Garmin BC 50 with Night Vision Backup Camera

PMB Performance · Authorized Garmin Retailer

Late arrivals and dark trailheads are exactly when a useful rear view earns its place on a rig. Garmin BC 50 with Night Vision sends a live camera image to a compatible Garmin navigator and adds NightGlo illumination for reversing after dark. This is SKU 010-02610-00, the night-vision package with both a license-plate mount and bracket mount.

A rear view for the end of the day

Garmin NightGlo technology illuminates up to 20 feet behind the vehicle. The camera delivers up to 720p HD video with a 160-degree field of view and frame rates up to 30 fps on a compatible Garmin display.

The wireless transmission has a stated working range up to 50 feet, making the system relevant to trucks, RVs and trailers. An optional 50-foot extension cable can increase total transmission reach up to 100 feet for suitable vehicle combinations; the extension is sold separately.

The camera housing is IP67 rated for exterior dust and weather exposure. Camera-only dimensions are 4.32 × 2.22 × 1.85 cm, with a camera-only weight of 51.2 g.

Fit the camera to the vehicle

This package includes both a license-plate mount and a bracket mount, giving you two mounting approaches to plan around. It also includes the wireless transmitter and power cable, hardware and documentation.

The video link is wireless, but the camera requires a switched 12- or 24-volt DC power connection, such as the reverse-light circuit. Garmin recommends professional installation.

Place the camera, transmitter and wiring to suit the complete vehicle or trailer combination. Confirm range and mounting before installation; the stated maximum distances are not guarantees for every body, trailer and wiring layout.

Use the Garmin display already in the cockpit

Garmin lists support for specific Tread models, including Tread 2, Tread 2 Overland, Tread 2 SxS and selected Tread XL navigators, plus RV 795 and zūmo XT3. Other compatible RV/Camper, DriveSmart and dēzl models are listed below.

Match your exact navigator rather than assuming compatibility from its brand or screen size. A Garmin that supports a different BC-series camera is not automatically compatible with this model.

Choose this Night Vision version when the added after-dark illumination and included bracket mount fit your reversing setup. The navigator, optional extension and other illustrated vehicle equipment are separate purchases.

Before installation and use

• A compatible Garmin navigator is required and sold separately. Confirm the exact device before ordering.
• The camera needs wired switched power despite its wireless video connection. Optional range-extension cable is not included.
• Continue checking mirrors, surroundings and clearances while reversing. Night illumination and the camera image support awareness; they do not establish safe clearance by themselves.
• Garmin’s family graphics and video may show other navigators or accessories. Only the Night Vision camera package and in-box items listed here are supplied.
