Team Tracking
Built-in inReach technology lets suitably equipped race and support vehicles exchange messages and position updates over satellite coverage. An active inReach Flex Team subscription is required for the team service.
Touch Display And Buttons

Load a GPX course before the event to display the course line, start/finish, virtual checkpoints and race-mile markers. Chase course data can also show pit locations.

High-Performance GPS
The package includes both an external GPS antenna and an external inReach antenna, each in a low-profile, water-resistant housing with multiple installation possibilities.
Control Your Accessories
Pair a separately sold Garmin PowerSwitch digital switch box to control supported 12-volt equipment such as rock lights, fans and air pumps from the navigator.
Secure Mount
Use the included bail mount or plan an appropriate dashboard panel installation. The Race package includes the Baja dock and its physical controls.
Off-Road Ruggedness
IP67 dust/water protection and construction intended for demanding desert travel make the navigator suited to the race-support environment.
Team Tracking Plans
An active inReach Flex Team plan unlocks the supported team service, including team tracking, text messaging and SOS. Review Garmin’s current plan details before activation.
Satellite Imagery
High-resolution overhead imagery provides another view of the terrain. Satellite imagery for the North Baja Peninsula is preloaded, and additional supported imagery can be downloaded.
Outdoor Maps+
Add a paid Outdoor Maps+ subscription for Garmin’s supported premium map layers and ongoing content access. It is an optional service separate from the navigator purchase.

Installation and what to plan for
The 010-02510-00 Race package supplies the Tread XL Baja dock, dock power cable, bail mount, high-current power cable, external GPS antenna and external inReach antenna. Mount the navigator using the bail mount or an appropriate panel installation. Storage is 128 GB with optional microSD support to 256 GB; map/software updates use Wi-Fi.
Activate an inReach Flex Team subscription for team tracking, satellite messaging and associated service features. Satellite-device restrictions apply in some jurisdictions. Outdoor Maps+ requires an additional paid subscription. PowerSwitch, Group Ride Radio and BC 50 backup camera are optional accessories. Course files and pacenotes supplement race preparation; verify them with the event’s current instructions and real conditions.
