With an active inReach Flex Team subscription, race and support vehicles can exchange messages and position updates over satellite coverage. Team Tracking
Built-in inReach technology lets suitably equipped race and support vehicles exchange messages and position updates over satellite coverage. An active inReach Flex Team subscription is required for the team service.
Easy Portability
The heavy-duty suction-cup mount, vehicle power lead and portable mounting hardware make it easier to transfer the navigator between support trucks.
Know The Course
Load a GPX course before the event to display the course line, start/finish, virtual checkpoints and race-mile markers. Chase course data can also show pit locations.
Prerunning Tools
Build custom pacenotes while prerunning to mark turns, drop-offs and hazards. Keep the notes organized around the course and its virtual checkpoints.
Track Your Truck
Chase mode displays updated race-vehicle positions on the map so the support crew can follow progress through the event.
High-Performance GPS
Optional external GPS and inReach antennas provide additional installation options in low-profile, water-resistant housings. Both antennas are purchased separately.
Control Your Accessories
Pair a separately sold Garmin PowerSwitch digital switch box to control supported 12-volt equipment such as rock lights, fans and air pumps from the navigator.
Off-Road Ruggedness
IP67 dust/water protection and construction intended for demanding desert travel make the navigator suited to the race-support environment.
Team Tracking Plans
An active inReach Flex Team plan unlocks the supported team service, including team tracking, text messaging and SOS. Review Garmin’s current plan details before activation.
Satellite Imagery
High-resolution overhead imagery provides another view of the terrain. Satellite imagery for the North Baja Peninsula is preloaded, and additional supported imagery can be downloaded.
Outdoor Maps+
Add a paid Outdoor Maps+ subscription for Garmin’s supported premium map layers and ongoing content access. It is an optional service separate from the navigator purchase.

Installation and what to plan for
This Chase package includes a suction-cup mount, locking magnet-assisted mount and vehicle power cable. It has 128 GB of internal storage, optional microSD expansion to 256 GB and Wi-Fi map/software updating. External GPS and inReach antennas are sold separately. The Baja dock is compatible but is not included in this package.
Team tracking, satellite messaging and related inReach functions require an active inReach Flex Team subscription. Satellite communication equipment is restricted in some jurisdictions. Outdoor Maps+ needs its own paid subscription. PowerSwitch, external antennas, Baja dock, Group Ride Radio and BC 50 camera are optional accessories. Download course information before the event and verify it against organizer instructions and the actual route.
