Maps On And Off-Road
Preloaded North and South American topographic maps include 3D terrain. Detailed North American street mapping adds vehicle-size/weight routing where supported, helping connect the highway section with the dirt section.
Know Your Boundaries
See mapped public lands including national forests, BLM areas and wilderness. Private-parcel information and landowner details are shown for supported parcels larger than four acres; always confirm permission and access.
Satellite Imagery
Download detailed overhead imagery for a different view of the terrain. Wi-Fi downloads let you prepare the view on the device before you head out.
Trail Ratings
Supported U.S. off-road riding areas include trail difficulty ratings to help you research the route. Availability varies; assess actual conditions before committing.
Snowmobile Trails
Supported U.S. areas and Canadian provinces include snowmobile routes and useful stops such as fuel, food and warming shelters.
Outdoor Maps+
Add a paid Outdoor Maps+ subscription for Garmin’s supported premium map layers and ongoing content access. It is an optional service separate from the navigator purchase.
Points Of Interest
Preloaded iOverlander points and Ultimate Public Campgrounds let you locate established and dispersed campsites without depending on a live cell signal for the directory.
ABC Sensors
Built-in altitude, barometric and compass sensors add useful information when the terrain gets demanding. Pitch and roll gauges are also included in the navigator’s feature set.
Secure Mount
The locking magnet-assisted mounting system helps hold the navigator in place in the vehicle while keeping the device accessible.
Group Ride Mobile
When everyone uses the Tread app’s Group Ride Mobile feature, follow your friends from a compatible smartphone or Tread navigator.

Use the Tread app to keep routes, tracks, waypoints and collections together across compatible devices. GPX import and sharing make exchanging plans easier.
Live Weather
Pair a compatible smartphone and use the Tread app for live weather information, storm alerts and animated radar when the needed connection is available.
Control Your Accessories
Add a compatible Garmin PowerSwitch digital switch box, sold separately, to manage supported 12-volt accessories such as light bars and differential locks from the screen.
Group Ride Radio
Add a compatible Group Ride Radio, sold separately, for communication and tracking with other suitably equipped riders.
Track Your Dog Pack
A compatible Garmin GPS dog-tracking system can place dog-location markers on the navigator’s map when within tracking range. The tracking hardware is sold separately.
Expand Your Range
Optional external GPS and inReach antennas offer additional installation choices. Each has a low-profile, water-resistant housing and is sold separately.

Installation and what to plan for
This is the standalone 010-02509-00 Overland package. Fit the included suction-cup and locking magnet-assisted mounting hardware and connect the vehicle power lead. Built-in storage is 64 GB; optional microSD expansion supports up to 256 GB. Wi-Fi handles map/software updates and satellite-image downloads. Tread app features require a compatible smartphone and any necessary data connection.
Activate a compatible satellite subscription for inReach messaging, location sharing and interactive SOS. Satellite-device restrictions apply in some jurisdictions. Outdoor Maps+ is an additional paid subscription. PowerSwitch, Group Ride Radio, dog-tracking equipment, BC 50 camera and external antennas are optional accessories. Routing coverage varies; a vehicle profile cannot guarantee clearance or road suitability. Follow signs, access rules and current trail conditions.
