Garmin part number: 010-02859-00
From the commute to the next cars-and-coffee run, a clear recording is a worthwhile addition to the cockpit. Garmin Dash Cam X210 combines 1440p video with a broad 140-degree view, Garmin Clarity HDR and a built-in glare-reducing polarizer. GPS and automatic incident detection help preserve useful context, while the 2.4-inch LCD lets you check footage on the camera when safely parked. Its compact magnetic mounting setup keeps the installation neat.
Why it belongs in your car
- 1440p HD video, a 140-degree lens and Garmin Clarity HDR
- Built-in Clarity polarizer for reduced windshield glare
- GPS, automatic incident saving and a 2.4-inch LCD
- Included magnetic mount; voice control and Garmin Drive connectivity

Built for the drive

Crisp HD Video
Record 1440p HD footage through a wide 140-degree lens. Garmin Clarity HDR helps capture useful detail through bright and dark areas.

Bright Display
Check recorded footage directly on the bright 2.4-inch LCD when safely parked. The compact display helps with immediate video review without taking over the windshield.

Automatic Incident Detection
With vehicle power connected, the camera continually records. Incident saving and GPS location, date and time help preserve the context around an event.

Garmin Clarity Polarizer
The built-in polarizing lens enhancement reduces windshield reflections, helping useful road detail stand out rather than letting dashboard glare dominate the picture.

View And Share Videos
Access saved online clips through Garmin Drive with a paid Vault plan and Wi-Fi connectivity, then share the relevant footage rather than passing around the camera.

Voice Control
Save a clip or manage audio recording with spoken commands while your hands stay on the wheel. Supported voice languages are English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Swedish.
Parking Guard
Receive a Garmin Drive notification when the camera detects an event involving the parked car. A paid Vault plan, active Wi-Fi and constant power are required; some installations need a separate Constant Power Cable.
Live View
Check the camera’s live view through Garmin Drive on a compatible smartphone. A paid Vault plan, active Wi-Fi connection and constant power are required; an optional Constant Power Cable may be necessary.
“Go” Alerts
A reminder sounds when the traffic stopped in front of you begins moving. A useful nudge during a long queue.
Forward Collision Warnings
Receive an alert when the camera detects that you are following the vehicle ahead too closely. Performance depends on conditions; keep using your own judgment and safe following distance.
Lane Departure Warnings
Camera-based warnings can call attention to drifting across a lane boundary. Conditions can limit the system, so the driver remains responsible for the vehicle.
Red Light And Speed Cameras
Receive notifications for supported red-light and speed-camera locations. Coverage and availability depend on region.
Dash Cam Video Sync
Use Garmin Drive to review synchronized recordings from as many as four compatible Garmin dash cameras. Additional cameras are purchased separately.
Durable By Design
Designed for the heat, sunlight and demanding interior conditions a dash camera faces in a vehicle.
Travelapse Trip Highlights
Condense hours on the road into a short Travelapse highlight video. A fun way to share the journey after the driving is done.
Extra USB Port
The supplied power adapter has another USB port available, so the camera does not have to take the place of your phone or navigation power lead.
Memory Card Required
Bring a compatible Class 10 or faster microSD card: 8 GB minimum, 512 GB maximum. A memory card is required and is not supplied.
Constant Power Cable
A separately sold Garmin Constant Power Cable can provide ongoing power through the vehicle’s OBD2 port, including when the ignition is off. Some vehicles need it for features that monitor the parked car.
Tidy Install
A compact body and slim power lead help keep the windshield installation discreet. Route the lead upward or downward to suit the cabin.

Installation and what to plan for
The package includes a low-profile magnetic mount, 13-foot vehicle power cable and dual-USB adapter. Add the required Class 10 or faster microSD card, at least 8 GB and up to 512 GB; no card is included. Garmin lists a maximum of 60 FPS, with frame rate depending on the chosen recording mode. Route the slim power lead upward or downward to suit the cabin.
Parking Guard and Live View need a paid Garmin Vault subscription, a compatible Garmin Drive smartphone, active Wi-Fi and constant power. Some installations need an optional Constant Power Cable or compatible hardwired solution. The 2.4-inch LCD is not the X310 touchscreen. Driver alerts can be affected by conditions, red-light/speed-camera availability varies by region, and applicable camera/privacy laws must be followed.
