More Than a Repaint. A Complete Caliper Restoration.
There’s a big difference between making a caliper look good and restoring it correctly. If you’ve been told a rattle can and an afternoon will do the job, read Step Away From The Rattle Can first. Factory Anodizing Preserved
On aluminum Brembo calipers, PMB removes the old finish while preserving the original factory anodizing beneath it. That protective layer matters. For applicable steel calipers, the original protective finish is restored through proper zinc plating.
Factory Seals
Your calipers are completely disassembled and rebuilt using the correct factory seals, not inexpensive generic substitutes.
Hardware Restored
Applicable springs, pad plates and hardware are cleaned and replated as part of the restoration process.
Factory-Style Paint & Branding
The finish is rebuilt through a multi-stage process including proper surface preparation, primer, color, correct branding and multiple clear coats for the depth and appearance these calipers had when new.

You are purchasing the restoration of the calipers you already own, not a new replacement set of calipers.

Send Us Your Calipers
Complete our Caliper Shipping Form, drain the brake fluid, remove the bleeders and securely package your calipers (preferably double-boxed) for shipment to PMB Performance.

STEP 4
We Restore Them
Once received, your calipers move through PMB’s complete restoration process: disassembly, inspection, stripping, rebuilding, refinishing, branding and final reassembly.
Turnaround may vary depending on caliper condition, configuration and selected options.

Our friends at Brembo are the hands-down leaders in painted calipers. They began this process in the early ’80s, and they were a huge hit. Who among us hasn’t uttered the words “Big Red?” For a while there, red-painted calipers became synonymous with performance across the industry. It literally sent droves of performance-minded enthusiasts out to the driveway with a can of red spray paint to add 10hp to their now-custom ride!
Through decades-long manufacturing processes, Brembo has literally perfected the art of the painted caliper. So, as with our factory-emulated zinc-plated steel caliper processes, we ask: why reinvent the wheel?
There are hundreds of companies out there painting, repainting, and refinishing Brembo calipers. Notice we didn’t mention “Restoring” Brembo calipers. The time has come when many painted calipers are in need of attention. Porsche 951 calipers can be 40 years time-worn. It’s customary for us to want to have them look and perform the best they can. It’s also deeply ingrained in our human genome to seek out the “best deal”.
Do yourself a favor: take 5 minutes to find out what you’re getting into. These are brake calipers we’re talking about…those little things on each wheel separating us from life and death.
