Upgrade your four-cylinder Porsche 914 with Powerlite four-piston front calipers and 11.38-inch vented rotors. The kit includes new hubs and uses compatible factory front spindles, so a 911 strut conversion is not required.
This kit is for the early 914-4, model years 1970 through 1972. Its caliper brackets are made for those cars and are a different part from the brackets in the 1973 through 1976 kit, so order by your car's model year. If the front struts may have come from another car, or you don't know the car's history, send us photos of the strut and caliper mounting and we'll confirm which bracket set fits.
Photo note: Some photographs show earlier plain-face rotors. Current supplied-to-order kits follow the rotor specification in the selected product option.

A 19 mm master cylinder is required and is not included. Have the front and rear brake combination checked together before installation.
For a factory 914-6, a five-lug conversion or changed struts/hubs, contact PMB before ordering. The early and late front kits use different mounting brackets.
A 15-inch wheel may clear, but diameter alone is not enough. Compare the exact wheel’s barrel and spokes with the wheel-clearance drawing before ordering.
What is included for both front sides
- Two Powerlite four-piston service-brake calipers in the selected Black or Red finish.
- Two 11.38 × 0.81-inch vented rotors with the rotor adapters/hats for this application.
- BP-10 service-brake pads for both sides of the axle.
- Caliper brackets, installation hardware and braided stainless steel flexlines.
- Two aluminum front hub assemblies, associated bearings/seals and wheel studs.

Parts retained and items to supply
Retains the compatible original 914 front spindles and the existing spindle nuts and washers specified in DS1567. You supply wheel-compatible lug nuts, a 19 mm master cylinder, brake fluid, bearing grease and installation consumables. Rear brake parts are purchased separately.
