This Wilwood retrofit updates specified reverse-mount brake assemblies with an adjustable head and conventional balance bar. The replacement arm provides three leverage positions across a 5.50:1 to 6.25:1 range in place of the earlier fixed ratio. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures complete disc brake systems as well as calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Based in Camarillo, California, it was founded by Bill Wood in 1977. The range serves motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications, requiring each part to be matched to the system in which it operates.
