This Wilwood Tru-Bar replacement kit converts specified short-arm reverse brake assemblies from their earlier balance-bar arrangement. The kit includes the brake pedal, trunnion and clevis hardware; Wilwood identifies it as the nominal 5:1 reverse-mount conversion. The complete brake installation determines which Wilwood component is appropriate. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems, calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977, and it is based in Camarillo, California.

Approved earlier assemblies are 340-4828, 340-5180, 340-13835 and 340-13837. Identify the installed pedal by assembly number rather than relying on a rounded ratio alone. The existing compatible base and master cylinders are retained.
