These Wilwood backing shims follow the Superlite/XRS pad shape and reduce vibration transmission at the pad interface. Four composite steel-and-elastomer shims are provided to service two calipers. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company makes disc-brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized uses, including brake calipers and rotors, hydraulic master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines.
