Product details
An included threaded pedal rod distinguishes this black one-inch master from the otherwise similar rodless Remote Tandem model. The package supplies the cylinder, twin seven-ounce reservoirs and their remote mounting components for a properly designed dual-circuit brake system. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 under founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and builds disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with a range extending through calipers, rotors, valves, brake lines, fittings and master cylinders. Individual parts must be compatible with the system in which they operate.

- Service: Factory rebuild only; do not disassemble the tandem piston assembly
- Travel check: DS-1189 specifies 1.12-inch stroke and also states 1.10 inches in its full-travel warning; verify actual full piston travel before the pedal reaches a stop
- Reservoir feed: 0.87-inch inlet seating diameter with 11/16-20 internal thread; 1/4-inch feed-hose adapters for the standard remote reservoirs
- Reservoir package: Two 7 oz reservoirs with caps, brackets, clamps, hoses and feed adapters for direct or remote mounting
- Housing envelope: 7.16 inches as listed, excluding the projecting operating rod; verify the complete rod-equipped length
Fitment & Compatibility
Check the rod's 3/8-24 connection and usable adjustment against the pedal geometry. The stated cylinder housing length must not be used as the complete pushrod-to-nose installation envelope. Verify clearance with the assembled linkage, preserve full piston travel and use the supplied flare adapters in the selected side outlets.
