Product details
This two-psi package combines the blue residual valve with two line adapters. The adapters convert its pipe-thread ports to 3/8-24 female inverted-flare connections for appropriate three-sixteenths-inch brake tubing. For the manufacturer Wilwood Engineering, disc brake system design and manufacturing encompass calipers, valves, fittings, master cylinders, brake lines and rotors. Bill Wood founded the Camarillo, California company in 1977. Its motorsport, specialized and street-performance applications rely on components selected with the complete brake assembly and its operating requirements in view.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 260-13783
- Material: Aluminum
- Finish: Blue Anodize
- Component: Inline residual-pressure valve
- Residual setting: 2 psi
- Native ports: 1/8-27 NPT
- Adapters: Two adapters to 3/8-24 female inverted flare for 3/16-inch double-flared line included
- Selection: Disc-brake drainback control where the master sits below the calipers
Fitment & Compatibility
Confirm the circuit needs a two-pound residual setting, typically when the master is below the calipers. Mount the valve close to the master and observe the marked flow direction. The included flare adapters require matching double-flared lines; residual pressure should not be confused with front-to-rear bias adjustment.
