Product details
The red housing identifies Wilwood's ten-pound residual-pressure valve for appropriate drum-brake applications. It maintains pressure against drum return-spring and wheel-cylinder effects; it does not act as an adjustable proportioning valve or a parking-brake lock. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering has designed and manufactured disc brake systems since Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Its fittings, valves, calipers, brake lines, master cylinders and rotors are used across motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Matching a component means checking both its own specification and the braking assembly around it.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 260-13707
- Material: Aluminum
- Finish: Red Anodize
- Component: Inline residual-pressure valve
- Residual setting: 10 psi
- Native ports: 1/8-27 NPT
- Adapters: Not included
- Selection: Drum-brake residual requirement
Fitment & Compatibility
Use only where the drum-brake system calls for this residual setting. The two native ports are 1/8-27 NPT, with adapters purchased separately, and the valve must face the correct flow direction near the master. Do not select this ten-psi version as a substitute for a disc-brake residual valve.
