Product details

This bare aluminum tandem master is configured for the factory manual-brake pedal used in the specified early Mustang application. Its included pushrod, seven-eighths-inch bore and dual reservoir chambers support a custom brake conversion after pedal travel and line routing have been checked. Since its founding by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood Engineering has designed and manufactured disc brake systems. Its Camarillo, California operation supplies master cylinders, brake lines, valves, rotors, fittings and calipers for specialized applications as well as motorsport and street-performance vehicles. Replacement and conversion parts need to match the complete braking arrangement.

Fitment & Compatibility

Wilwood identifies the 1964–1972 Ford Mustang manual pedal and 3.22–3.40-inch mounting range. It is not a universal bolt-in hydraulic replacement: a conversion from a single-outlet master requires separate front and rear plumbing. The full 1.10-inch stroke must remain available, and the proportioning valve is purchased separately.
