Product details
This non-adjustable combination valve performs three functions for the specified GM disc-front, drum-rear brake layout. It proportions rear pressure, delays initial front pressure and operates a differential-pressure circuit-failure switch when the front and rear circuits become unbalanced. From calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, brake lines and fittings, Wilwood Engineering's range covers disc brake systems and service components. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California and designs and manufactures for street-performance, specialized and motorsport applications. All component choices need to account for the complete system.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 260-11322
- Component: Fixed GM-style combination valve for selected 1978-and-later front-disc/rear-drum systems
- Finish: Black anodized
- Rear pressure characteristic: 63% rear-pressure reduction after a 350 psi knee point, as specified in DS-793
- Front metering delay: 30 psi
- Failure indicator: 50 ± 10 psi front/rear differential; requires chassis ground
- Pressure connections: Front inlet 1/2-20, rear inlet 7/16-24, front outlets 3/8-24, rear outlet 9/16-18; inverted flare
- Limits: 2000 psi maximum; −50 to 160°F
- Included functions: Fixed proportioning, front metering and circuit-failure indication; not a hydraulic stop-light switch
Fitment & Compatibility
Wilwood DS793 identifies compatible 1978-and-later General Motors disc/drum installations; verify the actual valve layout and port connections rather than assuming all GM vehicles use it. Chassis ground is required for the failure-indicator circuit. This fixed calibration is not a knob-adjustable proportioning valve or a hydraulic stop-light switch.
