Wilwood combines a pair of 12-inch flexlines with weld-on tabs for securing the hard-line junctions at a rear axle. The tabs provide a fixed support point so movement is taken by the hose rather than the rigid brake tube. The complete brake system's requirements guide the selection of individual Wilwood components. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.
