This short Thermlock places a stainless thermal shield within a coated aluminum piston measuring 1.62 inches in diameter and 0.880 inch long. It allows the specified caliper to retain its original short-piston geometry while using Wilwood's thermal-barrier design. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems in Camarillo, California. Its calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with each component selected to suit the complete brake system.
