The 1.12-inch outside diameter makes this one of the smaller Thermlock formats, while its body remains 1.050 inches long. A coated aluminum shell and stainless shield help limit heat transfer through the piston into the brake fluid. The Wilwood Engineering range includes disc brake calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977, and it designs and manufactures these brake systems and components from Camarillo, California.
