The 1.75-by-1.050-inch Thermlock combines an aluminum shell with a stainless heat shield for sustained-temperature brake service. Its multi-part construction is intended to reduce heat reaching the hydraulic components through the piston. Since Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977, the company has designed and manufactured disc brake systems and components.
