This 1.88-inch Thermlock piston uses a stainless shield and coated aluminum shell to interrupt heat flow from the pad toward the caliper fluid. At 1.050 inches long, it serves the Aerolite and Superlite configurations identified in Wilwood's Thermlock guide. Established by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures its disc brake systems and components from Camarillo, California. The product range brings together brake lines, fittings, valves, calipers, rotors and master cylinders for specialized applications, motorsport and street performance, with every service component matched to the system as a whole.
