This HP rotor is used in the specified GNX4 rear upgrade for AM General military REV HUMVEE applications. Its plain 12-inch friction ring is 0.95 inch thick, with a shallow integral center and six-hole attachment geometry suited to that specialized brake package. Since its founding by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood has designed and manufactured disc brake systems from its base in Camarillo, California. Its products span rotors, calipers, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines for motorsport, street performance and specialized applications. Brake selection should account for the whole installation, including mounting dimensions, friction materials and hydraulic balance.

Confirm the installed GNX4 package and required platform modifications under kit 140-11451. The rear kit provides no parking-brake mechanism; the 6 x 4.33-inch rotor connection is not a wheel bolt pattern.
Wilwood’s product-family name says “53 Vane,” while the exact technical specification and GNX4 kit component listing state 56 vanes. The mounting dimensions and part number identify this replacement; confirm the vane count if it affects your application.
