Product details
This aluminum rotor mounts directly outboard on the specified 42-spline, 2.75-inch Sprint Car axle. The drilled 10.20-inch ring is only 0.31 inch thick and carries a Type III hard-anodized finish, making its restricted duty and compatible friction compound critical. Bill Wood established Wilwood in 1977. From Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems covering motorsport, street performance and specialized applications, with calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines in its product range. This rotor should be selected with the mounting arrangement, friction compound and hydraulic system in mind.

Fitment & Compatibility
Special dirt Sprint/Midget racing application only; unsafe for street use and unsuitable for most racing. Misuse can cause catastrophic failure. Confirm the correct axle, brake package and current Wilwood pad recommendation before use.
Pad-compound confirmation: the current rotor page recommends Purple compound, while Wilwood flyer FL506 specifies PolyMatrix Q for the hard-anodized aluminum rotors. Obtain Wilwood’s current recommendation for the exact rotor and caliper before selecting pads; these references should not be treated as interchangeable approvals.
