The 16-inch diameter makes this a replacement for the corresponding large rear brake package on compatible GM 1500 vehicles. Its GT slots, 48-vane casting and 1.25-inch section work with the kit’s caliper position; the integral hat retains an 8.27-inch parking drum. Since its founding by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood has designed and manufactured disc brake systems from its base in Camarillo, California. Its products span rotors, calipers, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines for motorsport, street performance and specialized applications.
