The solid 11.44-inch Super Alloy ring is intended for the rear drag brake application specified for this rotor. Drilling reduces rotating material, while the conventional eight-bolt mounting flange distinguishes it from the dynamic lug-mount alternative. Wilwood Engineering, established by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, designs and manufactures disc brake systems.
