The D974 ProMatrix rear plate appears on specified GM SUV brake packages and single-rear-wheel 3500 vans. At a nominal 0.66 inch thick, this set requires the correct rear caliper and cannot be chosen solely from an Express or Savana weight-class badge. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, for motorsport, street-performance and specialized use.
