Product details

Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems. Its calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines serve motorsport, street and specialized applications with different operating requirements. BP-45 brake pads in the .80-inch AERO4/AERO6 configuration supply four replacement pads. The requirements of the complete brake system govern the choice of individual components.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 150-45-6620K
  • Pad/shoe profile: 6620
  • Catalog pad area: 11.1 square inches
  • Supplied condition: Not pre-bedded; follow the instructions for the selected compound and brake system.
  • Package quantity: 4 individual pads
  • Catalog thickness: .80 inch
  • Catalog pad volume: 6.6 cubic inches
  • Listed Wilwood calipers: Aero4; Aero6
  • Compound: BP-45

BP-45 combines high friction with useful cold response and a smooth increase in friction as rotor temperature rises. Wilwood lists it for racing applications with iron or steel rotors. Choose it around the car’s braking load and balance; a matching production-car pad shape does not make this a general street replacement.

Fitment & Compatibility

The current compatibility list identifies AERO4 and AERO6 calipers for this 0.80-inch version. Check rotor width and caliper pad capacity before replacing a thinner AERO pad.
