Product details
From Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and builds disc braking systems for motorsport, street and specialized uses. Bill Wood established the company in 1977; its component range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. BP-40 brake pads in the .80-inch Wide Superlite configuration supply four replacement pads. Choose each component to match the complete system’s braking requirements.

BP-40 provides an aggressive initial response and good low-temperature friction, followed by stable modulation under sustained racing heat. Wilwood lists steel, stainless steel, iron, Super Alloy and titanium rotor materials. This is a racing-only selection, not a street pad; temperature needs and system balance remain part of compound selection.
Fitment & Compatibility
Use this 0.80-inch configuration in the listed billet or forged Superlite calipers. Verify the wide pad cavity and rotor combination; the narrower FNSL selection has a different thickness.
