Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems. Its calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines serve motorsport, street and specialized applications with different operating requirements. BP-40 brake pads in the .49-inch Dynalite Single/Dynapro Single configuration supply four replacement pads. Select individual components to meet the requirements of the complete brake system.

BP-40 provides an aggressive initial response and good low-temperature friction, followed by stable modulation under sustained racing heat. Wilwood lists steel, stainless steel, iron, Super Alloy and titanium rotor materials. This is a racing-only selection, not a street pad; temperature needs and system balance remain part of compound selection.
Fitment & Compatibility
Listed calipers include Dynalite Single, Single III, Single Floater and Dynapro Single. Compare the distinctive three-hole outline with the installed pad; a full-size Dynalite pad is a different shape.
The general outline drawing marks .50 inch, while the exact part specification lists .49 inch. Confirm the actual caliper clearance rather than treating the illustration as a precision tolerance drawing.
