Product details

From Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and builds disc braking systems for motorsport, street and specialized uses. Bill Wood established the company in 1977; its component range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. BP-40 brake pads in the .49-inch Dynapro 6/6A Lug-Mount configuration supply four replacement pads. Each part must be selected to work with the complete brake system and its requirements.

BP-40 provides an aggressive initial response and good low-temperature friction, followed by stable modulation under sustained racing heat. Wilwood lists steel, stainless steel, iron, Super Alloy and titanium rotor materials. This is a racing-only selection, not a street pad; temperature needs and system balance remain part of compound selection.

Fitment & Compatibility

This profile serves the Dynapro six-piston lug-mount and Forged Dynapro 6A lug-mount calipers. It is not a general fit for every Dynapro; retaining geometry and overall thickness must agree.
