Wilwood BP-40 High-Friction Race Pads for XRZ Radial Mount Brakes

Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems. Its calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines serve motorsport, street and specialized applications with different operating requirements. BP-40 brake pads in the .80-inch XRZ4R configuration supply four replacement pads. The requirements of the complete brake system govern the choice of individual components.

BP-40 provides an aggressive initial response and good low-temperature friction, followed by stable modulation under sustained racing heat. Wilwood lists steel, stainless steel, iron, Super Alloy and titanium rotor materials. This is a racing-only selection, not a street pad; temperature needs and system balance remain part of compound selection.

Fitment & Compatibility

Select this 0.80-inch pad for the XRZ4R radial-mount caliper. It is thicker than the 0.65-inch XRS version; verify the available pad space and rotor specification.
