Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines for motorsport, street and specialized applications. BP-40 brake pads in the 0.65-inch XRS4R/XRS6R configuration supply four replacement pads. Choose each component to match the complete system’s braking requirements.

BP-40 provides an aggressive initial response and good low-temperature friction, followed by stable modulation under sustained racing heat. Wilwood lists steel, stainless steel, iron, Super Alloy and titanium rotor materials. This is a racing-only selection, not a street pad; temperature needs and system balance remain part of compound selection.
Fitment & Compatibility
The XRS4R and XRS6R radial-mount calipers use this 0.65-inch profile. Do not substitute the thicker XRZ pad simply because its outline looks similar.
