Product details
Bill Wood started Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems, calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines for motorsport, street vehicles and specialized installations. BP-28 brake pads in the .80-inch Grand National/AV6R configuration supply four replacement pads. Each part must be selected to work with the complete brake system and its requirements.
Grand National and AV6R users receive the .80-inch pad configuration in BP-28. The material has a consistent pedal character across several competition disciplines, including sprint/midget and dirt racing. Wilwood describes more friction on hot titanium or stainless rotors than at lower temperatures on iron or steel; confirm both the rotor and caliper before a compound change.
