Product details
This D1886 package replaces four pads in a compatible brake assembly, using BP10 friction with a listed 0.66-inch thickness. Backing-plate geometry establishes the fit; the compound name alone does not identify a vehicle, caliper or axle position. Wilwood Engineering, based in Camarillo, California, was founded in 1977 by Bill Wood. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems for specialized, motorsport and street-performance applications, supplying calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. These parts should be selected together to meet the complete brake system’s requirements.

Fitment & Compatibility
Verify the required new-pad thickness alongside the plate’s contact and mounting surfaces. Rotor material and operating temperature must also match the friction compound; a shape match alone is insufficient.
This set uses BP10, Wilwood’s street-oriented friction material for steel and iron rotors. It combines gradual response with low noise and dust ratings, and is also listed for drag racing and lighter dirt-track use. Match those characteristics to the vehicle’s duty instead of treating all racing compounds as interchangeable.
