Product details
This D1835 set uses BP10 material at a listed 0.60-inch thickness. The four pads are intended for a caliper accepting that plate form, with the brake system's rotor material and thermal duty determining whether BP10 is the appropriate friction choice. The Wilwood Engineering range includes master cylinders, calipers, brake rotors, valves, fittings and brake lines for complete disc brake systems. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, the Camarillo, California manufacturer both designs and manufactures those systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Compatibility between the individual parts remains essential.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 150-10-D1835K
- Rotor compatibility: Steel, Iron
- Pad profile: D1835
- Friction compound: BP10
- Package quantity: 4 pads
- Pad thickness: .60 inch
For a street-oriented system, BP10 provides progressive engagement on iron or steel rotor faces. Wilwood also recommends it for muscle cars, drag racing and light-to-medium dirt competition. Rotor material and expected braking temperature should govern compound selection; a pad that fits mechanically is not automatically right for every track session.
Fitment & Compatibility
Use the existing pad and caliper specification to identify the correct plate. Confirm the retaining arrangement and unworn pad thickness, then check that the rotor material and braking duty suit BP10.
