Product details

The D1791 plate is the defining feature of this four-piece BP10 friction set. A listed 0.66-inch thickness must be checked with the caliper's specification, since other plate shapes may share that dimension without fitting the same hardware. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form Wilwood Engineering’s disc brake range. Bill Wood founded the Camarillo, California company in 1977; it designs and manufactures systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Matching the component to the rest of the brake package is fundamental to selection.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before ordering, compare the removed pad with the profile drawing and check the caliper’s allowed thickness. Confirm both retention geometry and rotor material rather than relying on a similar overall pad outline.

BP10 is a street-capable compound with gradual engagement for steel or iron rotors. Wilwood lists muscle-car and drag-racing use, plus light-to-medium dirt-track braking; it is intended for moderate heat rather than sustained heavy braking. Its low dust and noise ratings suit a street-focused brake package.
