Product details
These D1784 pads supply BP10 friction in a listed 0.66-inch package. Their mechanical fit comes from the complete backing-plate outline and retention layout, so the set should be matched to the fitted caliper before choosing it for street or lighter competition service. From its base in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and related components. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. The range spans motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines that must be chosen to suit the complete system.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 150-10-D1784K
- Pad profile: D1784
- Friction compound: BP10
- Package quantity: 4 pads
- Pad thickness: .66 inch
- Rotor compatibility: Steel, Iron
This set uses BP10, Wilwood’s street-oriented friction material for steel and iron rotors. It combines gradual response with low noise and dust ratings, and is also listed for drag racing and lighter dirt-track use. Match those characteristics to the vehicle’s duty instead of treating all racing compounds as interchangeable.
Fitment & Compatibility
Match the backing-plate outline, retention features and new-pad thickness to the actual caliper. The pad profile identifies the shape; it does not by itself establish vehicle fitment or axle position.
