Product details
This four-pad D1404 package combines the illustrated plate outline with 0.70-inch listed thickness. It provides BP10 friction for a compatible steel or iron brake installation, requiring the caliper's supports and retaining features to match the pad design. For Wilwood Engineering, designing and manufacturing disc brake systems encompasses the calipers and brake rotors as well as master cylinders, brake lines, fittings and valves. Bill Wood established the company in 1977; today it is based in Camarillo, California. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized components require compatibility throughout the system.

Fitment & Compatibility
The manufacturer’s pad-profile drawing identifies front use for this plate. Match the actual caliper and its new-pad specification; the drawing caption does not establish blanket model or year coverage. Select this profile only after checking the installed caliper, pad abutments and retaining hardware. New-pad thickness must leave the working clearance required by that brake assembly.
Wilwood rates BP10 for low dust and low noise while providing a gradual friction response. It is usable on the street and in drag or light-to-medium dirt-racing duties with steel or iron rotors. Its moderate-temperature character should be considered before selecting it for repeated high-energy stops.
