Product details
This four-pad set is identified by the D749 backing plate and a listed 0.58-inch thickness. BP10 supplies gradual-response friction for an appropriate street or lighter-duty brake system; the caliper profile must be confirmed before ordering. For Wilwood Engineering, designing and manufacturing disc brake systems encompasses the calipers and brake rotors as well as master cylinders, brake lines, fittings and valves. Bill Wood established the company in 1977; today it is based in Camarillo, California. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized components require compatibility throughout the system.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 150-10-D0749K
- Rotor compatibility: Steel, Iron
- Pad profile: D749
- Friction compound: BP10
- Package quantity: 4 pads
- Pad thickness: .58 inch
The BP10 friction material emphasizes smooth initial response and moderate-temperature operation. Appropriate uses include street driving, drag racing and lighter dirt-track braking on iron or steel rotors. Choose a different compound when sustained braking heat exceeds this operating role.
Fitment & Compatibility
Verify the required new-pad thickness alongside the plate’s contact and mounting surfaces. Rotor material and operating temperature must also match the friction compound; a shape match alone is insufficient.

With over 20 years of experience, PMB Performance can help compare the installed brake package with the required pad profile and compound. Caliper details are more useful than a vehicle model alone on a modified system.
