Wilwood Front BP10 Pads for Corvette C5 (1997–2004), C6 Base (2005–2013) and XLR (2004–2009)

These D731 pads use a long backing plate with a listed 0.57-inch thickness. The four-piece BP10 set is intended to replace the same profile in a compatible caliper, with both plate ends and retaining features requiring an exact match. Wilwood Engineering, based in Camarillo, California, was founded in 1977 by Bill Wood. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems for specialized, motorsport and street-performance applications, supplying calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Fitment & Compatibility

D731 is the front pad profile for original-type Chevrolet Corvette C5 brakes (1997–2004, including C5 Z06), Corvette C6 Base brakes (2005–2013) and Cadillac XLR brakes (2004–2009). Match the installed caliper and 0.57-inch pad thickness; aftermarket caliper conversions and other C6 brake packages may require a different plate. BP10 is selected here for iron or steel rotors.

BP10 is a street-capable compound with gradual engagement for steel or iron rotors. Wilwood lists muscle-car and drag-racing use, plus light-to-medium dirt-track braking; it is intended for moderate heat rather than sustained heavy braking. Its low dust and noise ratings suit a street-focused brake package.
