Product details

The D545 form is the mechanical starting point for selecting these BP10 replacement pads. Four pads are included at a listed 0.67-inch thickness, so the installed caliper must accommodate both the plate geometry and the new friction assembly. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form Wilwood Engineering’s disc brake range. Bill Wood founded the Camarillo, California company in 1977; it designs and manufactures systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Matching the component to the rest of the brake package is fundamental to selection.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the backing-plate outline, retention features and new-pad thickness to the actual caliper. The pad profile identifies the shape; it does not by itself establish vehicle fitment or axle position.

The BP10 friction material emphasizes smooth initial response and moderate-temperature operation. Appropriate uses include street driving, drag racing and lighter dirt-track braking on iron or steel rotors. Choose a different compound when sustained braking heat exceeds this operating role.

With over 20 years of experience, PMB Performance can help compare the installed brake package with the required pad profile and compound. Caliper details are more useful than a vehicle model alone on a modified system.
