Product details
D431 uses distinct inner and outer backing plates, making this BP10 set a matched-profile replacement rather than four interchangeable pad shapes. The thickness information differs between the catalog specification and drawing, so confirm both new-pad dimensions before ordering. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems in a product range serving motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood offers brake rotors, calipers, valves, master cylinders, brake lines and fittings; component choice depends on the complete braking arrangement.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 150-10-D0431K
- Rotor compatibility: Steel, Iron
- Pad profile: D431
- Friction compound: BP10
- Package quantity: 4 pads
- Thickness: conflicting inner-pad specifications; confirmation required as detailed below
BP10’s low-to-medium-temperature role covers street vehicles and drag applications, with additional use in lightly to moderately braked dirt cars. Steel and iron are the specified rotor materials. The compound is chosen for controlled engagement and low dust, with the complete system’s heat demand still determining suitability.
Fitment & Compatibility
The profile drawing shows a 0.65-inch inner pad and 0.57-inch outer pad, while the separate product specification lists 0.67/0.57 inch. Confirm the required inner-pad thickness with the installed caliper and Wilwood before ordering. Both plate shapes, including their different widths and retaining features, must match.
