Product details
The wide D412 backing plate makes this four-pad set distinct from other 0.60-inch BP10 pads. Check its outline and support points against the removed pads before choosing the compound for your existing iron or steel brake rotors. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are selected as parts of a complete, compatible brake system.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 150-10-D0412K
- Package quantity: 4 pads
- Pad thickness: .60 inch
- Rotor compatibility: Steel, Iron
- Pad profile: D412
- Friction compound: BP10
For a street-oriented system, BP10 provides progressive engagement on iron or steel rotor faces. Wilwood also recommends it for muscle cars, drag racing and light-to-medium dirt competition. Rotor material and expected braking temperature should govern compound selection; a pad that fits mechanically is not automatically right for every track session.
Fitment & Compatibility
Pad retention, backing-plate dimensions and the available thickness clearance are the critical mechanical checks. Identify the caliper actually fitted to the vehicle, especially where a previous brake conversion has changed the original equipment.
