Wilwood Rear GM 1500 AERO4 Kit 2000–2007, Red Calipers with 14.25-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rotors

Red AERO4 calipers are paired with 14.25-inch SRP drilled-and-slotted rotors in this rear service-brake package. Fitment is restricted to the listed GM 1500 configurations with factory dual-piston rear discs, and the existing parking brake remains part of the installation. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form Wilwood Engineering’s disc brake range. Bill Wood founded the Camarillo, California company in 1977; it designs and manufactures systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Matching the component to the rest of the brake package is fundamental to selection.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the table below for the exact GM 1500 truck or SUV, year and brake-option combination. Listed applications span selected 2000–2007 vehicles, including restrictions for 2000 new-body models, Denali exclusions and 2007 Classic-body trucks. The OE rear dual-piston disc-brake requirement applies throughout; model name or six-lug wheels alone do not establish fitment. These are rear service brakes for the original dual-piston rear-disc arrangement. Retain the existing parking-brake shoes and mechanism in serviceable condition, and verify that the wheel clears the red caliper and the larger rotor throughout rotation.

Brake flexlines are separate. The current kit page references rear hose kits 220-9886 and 220-11196, while installation sheet DS570 references 220-8999 and 220-11196 with year guidance. Confirm the correct rear hose kit with Wilwood for the actual vehicle and brake assembly before ordering the lines.
