Wilwood Front FNSL6R Package, Black - GM A/F/X-Body and Ridetech Pin Spindles (1960–1982 Applications) with 12.88-inch GT Slotted Rotors

Black Superlite calipers and 12.88-inch slotted rotors form this front hub conversion for the listed GM and Ridetech pin-spindle applications. New hubs alter the wheel mounting position relative to the original GM drum or disc face, making track-width verification part of fitment. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are among the disc brake systems and components Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures. The Camarillo, California company was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and supports motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Each component must be chosen for its role within the complete braking system.

This is the 12.88-inch version of the FNSL6R hub kit, with black calipers and GT slotted rotors. The smaller rotor is the one to check when your wheels won't clear the 14-inch 140-9804 kit; compare your wheel against the clearance drawing before ordering. GT rotors are slotted only, which suits cars that see track days. Red (140-9803-R) and polished (140-9803-P) calipers are also offered.

Fitment & Compatibility

The table below separates original GM disc/drum spindles from vehicles fitted with the specified Ridetech pin spindles. It includes GM applications such as Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Cutlass, Skylark, Firebird and GTO, plus specifically modified Falcon, Mustang, F-100, Comet and Corvette applications. Do not treat the latter as stock-spindle fitments. DS-564 requires drilling/tapping on some early spindles and recommends a qualified machinist. Track width increases 0.38 inch per side from the OE drum face or 0.09 inch from the OE disc face. Check fender and wheel clearance, and select separate hoses for the actual suspension. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 17 in; 431.8 mm. Compare the actual wheel barrel and spokes with the linked clearance drawing; diameter alone does not establish fit.
