Wilwood Front Red Brake Kit - Mustang II (1974–1978), Pinto (1974–1980) and Bobcat (1975–1980), OE Disc Spindles, FNSL6R and GT Slotted 14.00-inch Rotors

Red FNSL6R calipers and 72-curved-vane GT rotors define this 14-inch front package. The kit includes new hubs and bearings for the supported Ford/Mercury disc spindles, with the wheel bolt pattern chosen to match the car. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems, calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Select individual components to meet the requirements of the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

For the Mustang II 1974–1978, Pinto 1974–1980 and Bobcat 1975–1980 applications in the table below using original disc-brake spindles. This larger 14-inch assembly uses new aluminum hubs and the original compatible spindles. Install the included studs in the wheel-matching pattern and compare the DS-563 drawing with both wheel barrel and spokes. Brake hoses are not supplied: select the appropriate universal flexline length and fittings, including the listed 220-8307 option where its 18-inch length suits the installation. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 18 in; 457.2 mm. Compare the actual wheel barrel and spokes with the linked clearance drawing; diameter alone does not establish fit.

4. If a separate replacement master cylinder is installed, its pushrod may require modification. No master cylinder is included in this front brake kit.
5. This is a front service-brake kit. Select any rear parking-brake cable separately for the vehicle's actual rear brake system.
