Black FDLI calipers and SRP drilled/slotted rotors form this forward-mount rear conversion. Both service calipers mount ahead of the axle on the specified new-style big-bearing Ford ends, with internal shoes providing the separate parking function. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems, calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Fitment & Compatibility
This rear-axle version places both service calipers ahead of the axle. It requires the new-style big-bearing Ford housing end and a 2.50-inch offset specified in DS-557; it is not the staggered-mount version. Confirm the actual installed axle dimensions for the Lincoln Town Car application in the table below, including bearing and flange clearance. The integrated drum parking system needs separately selected cables and clevises; universal kit 330-9371 is available. Hydraulic lines and fittings are also separate. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm. Compare the actual wheel barrel and spokes with the linked clearance drawing; diameter alone does not establish fit.
