Red FNSL6R calipers frame the drilled/slotted rotors in this 13.06-inch Mitsubishi front package. Its mounting hardware and 0.210-inch-offset aluminum hats are application-specific to the supported Evolution VIII and IX configurations. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems, calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. The requirements of the complete brake system govern the choice of individual components.

Fitment & Compatibility
Fits the specified Lancer Evolution VIII and IX front applications, including the listed MR and RS versions. Follow the individual 2003–2006 model entries in the table below; this is not a fitment claim for ordinary Lancer models. The brackets and aluminum hats use the retained original front hubs and uprights. Check the DS-553 wheel template and brake balance with the vehicle configuration. OEM hoses do not adapt to these calipers; select the separate 220-9287 front flexline kit and verify routing. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 17 in; 431.8 mm. Compare the actual wheel barrel and spokes with the linked clearance drawing; diameter alone does not establish fit.
