This Evolution VIII/IX front package combines black FNSL6R calipers with 13.06 x 1.25-inch GT slotted rotors. Aluminum short-offset hats retain the original front hub arrangement, while the six-piston calipers use BP-10 pads. Wilwood Engineering was founded in 1977 by Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines in its range. Component selection must account for the requirements of the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility
Fits the specified Lancer Evolution VIII and IX front applications, including the listed MR and RS versions. Follow the individual 2003–2006 model entries in the table below; this is not a fitment claim for ordinary Lancer models. The brackets and aluminum hats use the retained original front hubs and uprights. Check the DS-553 wheel template and brake balance with the vehicle configuration. OEM hoses do not adapt to these calipers; select the separate 220-9287 front flexline kit and verify routing. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 17 in; 431.8 mm. Compare the actual wheel barrel and spokes with the linked clearance drawing; diameter alone does not establish fit.
