Red calipers provide the finish contrast in this plain-rotor conversion for small-bearing Ford rear ends. The rotor hats, included internal parking hardware and 2.50-inch axle offset must be considered together when checking an original or modified vehicle. From its base in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, its range covers calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Each component must be chosen for its role within the complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility
Confirm the small-bearing Ford housing-end pattern and 2.50-inch axle offset against DS-536. The 1990 Lincoln Town Car entry in the table below is conditional on the actual installed rear-end hardware; it is not a substitute for measuring the housing, bearing and axle flange. Check the maximum 6.61-inch axle flange and specified chamfer before assembly. The separate internal parking shoes require suitable cables and clevises; Wilwood offers universal cable kit 330-9371. Select hydraulic hose length and fittings for the vehicle. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm. Compare the actual wheel barrel and spokes with the linked clearance drawing; diameter alone does not establish fit.
