Red four-piston calipers distinguish this Small Ford rear package, which uses drilled/slotted service rotors and separate internal parking shoes. The required 2.50-inch axle offset must be measured on the installed housing before purchase. From its base in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, the company also produces the individual calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines used in these installations. Fitment & Compatibility

This red drilled/slotted package requires the Small Ford housing end at 2.50-inch offset. Consult DS530 for the exact bearing and retainer arrangement and verify it on the vehicle, including a listed Town Car. The parking backing plates and 2.80-inch register adapters are supplied; hats have 3.06-inch center openings. Keep the axle flange within the 6.61-inch maximum and specified chamfer. Select the hydraulic connections and mechanical parking-cable hardware for the chassis separately.

Adjust and test the mechanical parking brake as directed. Cable routing, tension and shoe adjustment affect its holding ability; do not rely on an untested parking brake alone to secure the vehicle on a slope.
